Specific topics include:
- ERDAS: Jon Polay will present an overview of the ERDAS desktop solution including imagery analysis, processing, management and delivery tools. As well as integration with ESRI, Google and Virtual Earth.
- Pictometry: Scott Yoder will be discussing Pictometry’s Real-Time system and its new critical infrastructure intelligence product which gives emergency responders a view of building interiors with data overlays.
- ESRI: Jessica Spain will be discussing what is new and upcoming with Lands Records Management and where possible resources are located.
- DLI: Roger Masters will be speaking of the company’s rugged tablet computer that features on board GPS and multiple radios connecting field workers to GIS and mission critical data everywhere works is done.
- Cost: FREE for current members of the Ohio Chapter of URISA.

The next chapter meeting is scheduled for Monday, July 27th, 2009 at 11:00 AM at ODOT Headquarters in Columbus, OH (Rm GB). The monthly OGRIP Forum meeting is at 1:00 PM in the same location. This is tentatively scheduled at this point. The OGRIP Forum meeting maybe an outreach meeting in Ottawa County, Ohio. If it is, the Ohio Chapter of URISA meeting may also relocate to Ottawa County for this monthly meeting. |

New Officers were elected at the regular monthly meeting yesterday. The Ohio Chapter of URISA officers for 2009-2010 are: - Chair: Fred Judson, Ohio Department of Transportation
- Vice Chair: Scott Snider, Knox County
- Treasurer: Margie Betts, Franklin County
- Secretary: Zane Beathard, Madison County
- Past Chair: Nelda Sisler, Delaware County
The new officers can now be reached through the Contact Us page.
We would also like to thank the 2008-2009 Officers for their service to the Chapter: - Chair: Nelda Sisler, Delaware County

Over the past year the Chapter has seen many changes. The most visible is our new and improved website. Please visit www.ohurisa.org for the most current information about the Chapter. The Ohio Chapter of URISA’s membership year has changed and now is January-December rather than July-June. For everyone’s convenience, the Ohio Chapter of URISA is combining membership invoices for the last half of 2008 and all of 2009. This allows for one invoice and one payment. A separate membership certificate will be issued for each year and both will be e-mailed to each member. |
